Alison Lee

It's hard to find an amateur career in golf that can hold up to what Alison Lee managed to achieve in her teenage years. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, after playing on three victorious Junior Solheim Cup Teams and representing the United States twice - winning both times - at the Junior Ryder Cup, Alison joined her hometown UCLA Bruins.

There, she earned Pac-12 Player honours and was awarded Freshman of the Year after winning the 2014 Pac-12 Championship while being ranked number 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 16 weeks.

No wonder Alison decided to leave college after just one-and-a-half seasons to turn professional in December 2014. After winning the final stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament, still a teenager, Alison joined the PGA Tour and managed to qualify for the US Solheim Cup Team during her rookie season on Tour.

In her first seven years on the LPGA Tour, Alison achieved 12 Top-10 finishes but is still chasing her first professional win in America.

On the Ladies European Tour, on the other hand, Alison won the Aramco Team Series 2021 in Sotogrande and scored another victory at the Aramco Team Series 2023 in Riyadh. Not least because of this victory in Saudi Arabia, 2023 turned out to be Alison's most successful season as a professional so far. She also managed five Top 10 finishes on the LPGA Tour, two of which were second places.
