"I know exactly when my interest in golf really came to life: December 12, 2011 was day one for me as a golfer. That was shortly after Tiger Woods picked up - let's say - a few penalty strokes off the golf course. Basically, a golfer behaved like a football or basketball player; something like that naturally makes you curious. It was an extreme refutation of stereotypes associated with golf. I found that interesting."

By then, it was way too late to think about a career on the course, but being part of the Los Angeles media and celebrity scene, Lang found his calling in filmmaking and storytelling. "Naked golf was certainly one of those episodes I will never forget. We produce the 'Adventures in Golf' films in blocks. The naked golf course is in Central Florida, and before we got there, we were on a long trip through Portland, where we played 'urban golf', Tokyo, where the film about hole-in-one insurance was made, and then we had an order from the PGA Tour in Florida. So we had been traveling together for quite a while when we arrived at the nudist community. The first thing we saw there was a man walking around in flip-flops and a hat on his head. Otherwise, he was butt naked. We all had a big laugh and started filming…" What sets Lang apart as an influencer is his ability to forge authentic connections with his audience.
